How do you replace an alternator?

Buy an alternator of the same make as the original in your car , take out the old one unsrewing the nuts and bolts and place the new one .

Shut off the vehicle. Disconnect the battery. Remove the alternator drive belt. Disconnect the wires to the alternator, taking note of which wires go where,Remove the alternator. Replace the alternator. Re-connect wires. Replace the drive belt. Re-connect the battery. Start the vehicle, it may require jumping from another battery. With the engine running, visually check your work.
