Place sutibale container under pan to catch the old fluid. Remove the bolts holding the pan in place, remove pan and gasket. Clean the sealing surface on the transmission as well as the pan, position new gasket, reinstall pan, torque pan to specs, pour back in the oil that was saved, or put in new oil.

It depends on the transmission, but it most cases it's a simple affair. Remove the bolts holding the pan to the transmission, carefully scrape off the old gasket and replace. Bolt it back up and you're done.

Drain Transmission fluid. Remove pan bolts. Remove Pan. Clean off old gasket from pan and transmission. Damaging surfaces can cause leaks. Use gasket sealing compound on transmission and pan. Place new gasket on pan and move pan into place. Reinstall pan bolts finger tight. Tighten bolts evenly to correct torque.

Car must be lifted and on jack stands. On the bottom of the transmission are tiny screws going into a cover. Removing these screws will remove the cover and gasket and the fluid will rush out of the transmission. Clean and install the cover with the new gasket. Fill the transmission to the proper level. Start the car and check the fluid level.

First, make sure that all of the transmission fluid is drained. It's pretty simple from there, unscrew the pan and replace it. Easy job.
