How do you remove the vocal track from a song?

You really cannot do this. You'll have to find a karaoke version of the song or an instrumental version because it really is not possible to just remove the vocals off a track.

To do this you need special audio software and a PC. Like the free program "Audacity" which can be found with simple search. The software layers the music, which is then divided by their frequencies. Once the song is processed you can remove any part of the song that you like.

I can promise you this will cost you a fortune. You will have to go out and buy music editing software. You will need to separate all of the tracks. From there you will re-work the track with the vocals removed.
