How do you remove the moonroof switch on a Honda Accord?

You have to remove the dash panel on the left side where the switch is. But, you most be careful not to damage any wiring because the cruise control switch is also located there. Then you have to unplug the switch from the harness before removing it from the panel and the switch has two bulbs to remove.

I am sorry to tell you but you can not in fact remove the moonroof switch on a Honda Accord. You can in fact take out the fuse though so the switch will not do anything.

swap the moonroof open relay for the close relay for free. However these relays are hidden behind the headliner. And if the open relay is the problem the moonroof will be stuck open and unable to close without reswapping relays. With skill and finesse these can be replaced without removing the headliner.

this is how you can remove a moonroof switch there is a little compartment on your roof by the moonroof and you take that off and there is everything inside

Lift the edge of the switch with a very thin bladed screwdriver to locate the latches and then release them.
