Question by  GG (20)

How do you remove the glove box from a Honda accord?

I am trying to make some adjustment to my car, but I can't figure out how to take out the glove box.

Pull open the glove box. There will be screws on the inside lip of the glove box that will have to be removed. It will then slide out.

Thats a very easy thing to do, all you need to do is open the glove box and take everything out. Then you squeeze the sides inward and it should pop out.

The best way I can think of is to get a hack saw and cut it out. That, or you could just remove the screws from the inside, and back part of the dash. It's going to be a job. The dash will probably need to come completely out, so it will take an hour or two.

Check for screws on the dashboard's center lower cover, you will also have to remove screws from the bottom of the glove box.

Open wide the Accord passenger side, and remove the lower covers of the central and passenger dashboards. Rip out the screws from the bottom of the glove box, and then use a screwdriver to release the hooks and pry open the cap. Then, remove the screws and and pull down the lever thing to remove the glove box.
