How do you remove nail polish from a carpet?

I had a spill.

You can use a little nail polish remover, just be careful not to use too much. You can always test it in a small space that no one will ever notice. You can also try windex or 409. Goo Gone might also help since it get stains out of carpet.

The best thing to do is use nail polish remover like you would on your nails. Just be careful because it could take some of the color out of the carpet as well. Use a small amount only exactly where needed until the nail polish starts to fade out.
