How do you remove a watch link?

Use a small pin/needle and position it against the pin inside the desired link. Give it a few taps with a soft mallet. Remove the link and replace the pin.

Well most watches have links that can be removed by pressing out pins. Use a small pin of nail to push the connecting pins out on the un-needed link. Then press one pin back in to connect he band. Make sure to follow the arrows to install/remove the pins.
