How do you refill a snow globe?

Most snow globes are not refillable but some feature a small screw in the bottom to allow for refilling. If there is no port on the bottom it is nonrefillable.

With molded plastic you may see a plug on bottom. If not, drill a small hole through bottom, fill with distilled water, use epoxy to glue (2 part) to replugh.

If your snow globe does not have a rubber stopper on the bottom to refill the water anywhere, then you will have to send it to a snow globe repair place such as Ferrara Studios. You should use lots of bubble wrap and packing peanuts when shipping the snow globe.

Their should be a stopper on the bottom of the globe. Drain out the water. Add more snow if you want. Fill the globe with glycerin 2 tablespoons and water. Glycerin makes the snow glide down. Water will only make it fall. Put back the plug.

Try removing the base of your globe, you should see a plastic or rubber stopper, remove that and refill your globe with distilled water.

If the bottom of the globe is made of a hard material or it is sealed, find a professional. If the bottom is made of rubber get a syringe and refill the globe with sterile distelled water. If you can take the bottom off refill it and glue it back.

There is nothing to add water or any other chemical. Just keep the snow globe in a cool place where the temperature is below zero degree celcius, atleast a day.
