Well I got my hands on some trumpet creeper seeds and cover them with a layer of sand that I kept moist for two months I had to add some fungicide stuff so no mold would grow. They germinate best at about 40 c and a humidity of 30.

Trumpet creepers are usually propagated by cutting the vines and putting them in water until they develop some suckers. You can also put in a small plant pot with a good fertilized potting soil which you should keep damp until it roots. Either method works very well in most cases.

It doesn't matter with the seeds. Just plant them in early fall even if living in a colder clime. New England Trumpet Creeper Vines grow like crazy and the seeds crop up every spring if they aren't cleaned up so they are extremely easy to grow no matter where.  add a comment

In order to propagate trumpet vines First, cut off a piece of vine near a joint, strip all leaves but a few and sit in a clear container of water until you see roots begin to form. Once the roots are formed, the plant can be set in soil.

Trumpet Creeper Vines actually spread very easily. In fact, when growing these vines it is often wise to thin the vines as the grow and cut the vines back in the winter to avoid rapid growth. These are very low maintenance, so you really do not need to much work.

If you have a parent plant, you should just be able to pull up sprigs when they shoot up voluntarily all around, stick them in the ground just about anywhere and water them when you think about it! They are incredibly hardy and require little or no care.

Trumpet vine is very easy to propagate!! Take as many small clippings of the vine as you would like new starts. You may either root the vines in water, or plant them immediately in moist sandy soil and they will begin to grow!

You can rootprune or let seeds grow from the pods the plant produces. A hardy plant, shoots will sprout from throw aways even! Place root cuttings in soil and water.
