Make sure the tv is on. Press the "TV" button and go to the "Menu" to manually program the remote.

Confirm your tv is turned on before you begin. Choose tv button one time, press the setup button then hold the button repeatedly until tv goes off, save the settings, turn off tv hit setup button again, after tv button is flashing twice, this confirms your settings are saved.
