How do you play Star Ocean on the PS1?

The original star ocean was a super nintendo game released only in japan, and as such cannot be played on the PS1. You can however find a translated SNES rom on the internet. So find a super nintendo emulator, and search for star ocean english snes rom. then open the emulator, and load the game viola.

Star Ocean: The Second Story is an original PS1 game, you would insert the disk into the disk drive by popping the pop top of the ps1, or if it is a ps2 you must push the eject button and insert the disk, in order to save data, you must have a meemory card.

To play Star Ocean you must first run up to the enemy you would like to encounter. After the enoucter starts the player will transported to a real time battle.
