How do you petition your own mother?

I need to petition my own mother.

Answer by  cmass (26)

It depends what you mean by 'petition. ' if you are referring to a court proceeding, then it depends on your state of residence, but you can file and serve a petition involving your mother just as you could any other person. If you are referring to the act of requesting some action of her, just ask her!

Petition her for what? Are you a minor? If a minor, there will be no petition made by you, but rather you'd better seek out an of age advocate, maybe your father? If, on the other hand, rather than legal, you seek to ASK your mother something either a) come out and ask b) write her a note
