I would imagine that they perform this similar to how normal euthanasia procedures are performed - an injection of toxins that will kill the animal without it really feeling a thing.

It is performed in the same way that any animal euthanasia is performed,injecting a needle with the correct dosage into the animal.However,this is a delicate process and you should not attempt it without a vet.

To perform skunk euthanasia, you will need a lot of ammonia. Spray ammonia on the skunk when it comes within your distance. This will help the skunk get to its senses.
