Spray paint is a good option when painting your computer case. I'd recommend you get a brushed metal case so the design will set more effectively. On plastic it seems to drip more. Make sure to tape your design or stencil thoroughly before beginning. Often times two to three coats of paint are needed for a clean design.

Make sure you take out all of its components and then paint it with something that will not degrade in a high temperature environment. The last think you want is paint to melt and get all over you CPU so make sure it can withstand temperature up to 180 degrees.

I am not sure that painting your computer case is a good idea. You should order the case in the color you want it to be if it is available.
