Go to the hardware store, get a roller set, which includes the paint pan and liners, roll in pan, then right on walls. It leave a nice, even coat.

Start with dusting the walls, spackling nail holes, and sanding wall. Then use blue tape to mark off the areas you don't want painted. Prime your walls with Kiltz and then apply two or more coats of paint until you obtain the color shade you want and are streak free.

First tape off sections to not be painted with painters-tape. Be sure to primer. Use a roller, working in V and L patterns. Dry overnight and repeat.

You paint walls with water based emulsion paint. Tape off surrounding areas that you don't want to paint. Use a flat or square brush for corners, roll the rest.

How to paint walls is by you have to have even brush strokes to make the paint come out even, if you don't do even brush strokes you would be able to see the brush lines within the wall you have painted. Try also using a roller because its easier to use, and it looks better.
