There are no "Temporary" U.S. Permanent Resident (aka Green) cards.
However, Form I-687 "Application for Status as a Temporary Resident" can be filed with USCIS.Gov (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) to apply for "Temporary Resident" status.
Later, Form I-698 "Application to Adjust Status from Temporary to Permanent".
