There is no general mnemonic for all the books of the bible. The first five books, or pentautech, which tell the story of creation, can be remembered with the mnemonic, "GLEND." Using music to memorize the different books of the bible has proved to be very successful for many students attempting this task.

There are a few easy ways to memorize the books of the Bible. One way is to follow the children's songs, and listen to it several times. They will help you memorize all books of the Bible; there is one song for the Old Testament and one song for the New Testament. You could also practice writing them down.
