How do you measure resistance?

A meter is the quickest, easiest and most accurate way of measuring resistance. I wouldn't recommend trying to do so any other way as it's nearly pointless. You can work it out using Ohm's Law but that involves maths and is likely to be wrong!

I measured resistor by color coding method,that is "BB ROY GREAT BRITTEN VERY GOOD WIFE" block means value '0',brown means '1',red means '2',orange means '3',yellow means '4',green means '5',blue means'6', violet means '7',gray means '8', white means '9'.first two color has cascades and third color has in the power of 10.
