Using heavy cream and beating it on high with your mixer it will thicken. Be careful do not over beat it will turn into butter. You can add sugar to give it sweetness. You can also try half-and-half or mix milk with some of the heavy cream before beating. Electric mixer is best.

Chill a metal mixing bowl and your whisk in the freezer for five to ten minutes before you begin. Whisk together two tablespoons of sugar and one cup of heavy whipping cream until it will hold a stiff peak. Unused cream can be stored in an air tight container in the fridge.

Start be getting some heavy whipping cream. Add a tablespoon of sugar for every cup of cream. Put it in a cold mixing bowl and beat it until it foams. Continue to whip it stopping occasionally checking the thickness. See if the foam will stand up on its own and not fall over.
