How do you make spoon rings?

You need metal-working tools to cut and shape the handle of the spoon. You also need a torch to heat up the handle and a steel ringer sizer to work the hot metal around to shape into a ring. Knowledge of various metals is required as well.

You will need a jewelry saw and a ring mandrill. Using the saw, cut out the design as you would like it to appear, then form on the mandrill.

I would invest first in a metal mandrel. This is used to size rings and can be used to make them to a specific size. As long as you are careful to start with silver spoons, you should be able to shape them with a rubber or wooden mallet.
