Preheat pizzelle griddle. Beat 6 eggs. Gradually add 1/2 cups sugar. Beat well. Add 1 cup cool melted butter and 2 tbsp anise extract. Sift 3 1/2 cups flour and 4 tsps baking powder. Add to creamed mixture. Dough will be very sticky. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto Pizzelle griddle sprayed with Pam. Cook till steam stops and cookies are golden.
