How do you make flashcards for kids to learn their site words?

You can use unlined index cards or cut your own cards from plain white paper approximately 3 X 5. Legibly print one word on each card.

For words like cat, dog, eat, etc. you can take a picture and glue it to an index card and write the word on the other side of the card. For words like at, me, etc. you can use rhyming or just make cards and get your kids to memorize.

I have typed them up and printed them on card stock. I also used index cards which come in different colors so I colored coded some of the words. ie verbs - green; nouns - yellow, etc. Since there are so many site words keep it simple. The kids don't care so make it easy on yourself.

Draw a picture or cut one out if you like and place it on the front of the page. On the back write what the item is and then quiz.
