How do you make beaded safety pins with the beads on the back?

Choose the safety pin and colored seed beads you want to use. Use a flat head screwdriver to slightly pry apart the coil at end of safety pin. Put beads on one at a time, slide bead to and around coil to back of pin. With pliers, squeeze coil together.

The top cap to safety pins will come off if you stick a small flat head screwdriver inside and then pluck it off.

Purchase safety pins made from a soft metal that can easily unwind. Unwind the pin so that the beads can be strung on to the back prong of the safety pin.

Drill a hole into the bead. then insert the pin into the bead. if that does not work then try soldering the bead onto the tip of the pin, that should make it reasonably stable for use.
