It's really just a box with a tiny pinpoint hole in it. The easiest way is to paint the inside of a cylindrical oatmeal box black and make a pin point in the box. Go into a darkroom and put in photosensitive paper or film. Seal the top and the hole with electrical tape.

You can make the pinhole camera called Dirkon. It is published in 1979 in a magazine. It is easy to make.

Use a light tight container like an oatmeal boxes or shoe boxes. Paint it black on the inside. Cover a small hole with foil. Make a pinhole in the foil.
