Books are a good source but the best way is to learn formally by learning techniques at a school. Experience can be learned at a flowers shop but to learn the current and trendy styles and colors, it is important to go to trade shows and learn from someone you know.

There are plenty of books and online sources that can help teach flower arranging, however you can also attent college or night school classes. To save money, just experiment!
