How do you know if you're looking at a burro's tail or a donkey's tail?

The tail on the burro is going to be quite a bit shorter than the donkeys tail, and the legs are smaller on a Burro.

You cannot tell the difference, donkeys and burros are the same animal. The word burro comes from the Spanish word burrico. It's a matter of word choice, Spanish or English.
