How do you install running lights on a Mazda 6?

I assume you mean "driving lights" since running lights are your tail and front corner lights. Find a suitable mounting place for your lights that aren't too near the road. Run the wires under the hood and into the cab. Find a good spot for the switch. Use a power source from the fuse panel and ground under the dash.

You can mount them under the door just behind the frame. You have to make sure you put it on the frame bracket mounts.

Look for a good mounting spot for the lights,just make sure they are not to close to the road.Now you have to run the wires under your hood into the cab of your car and find a good place to hook up a switch for the lights. Now you need to use your fuse box for power for the lights.

the running lights are awesome especially on a mazda . you can go to the near auto shop and let them to install it for you .;

Qualilty lighting kits have easy to follow installation instructions. A do-it-yourself manual will have wiring diagrams to help you. Be sure you have a good set of tools.

Decide where to mount the lights, then run the wiring up to the fuse box under the hood and connect the fused lead to the battery and the ground to chassis ground. Run the wires into the cabin, mount the switch, and your good to go.

Its not that hard as you think installing the running lights on the Mazda 6. You can just install the running lights as you do for the normal lights, if in case get need help from the mechanic.

Mount on the underside of the bumper, run the wires to the accessory side of the fuse box, when the ignition is turned on the lights will come on.

Take off the quarter panel trim under the steering wheel by unscrewing the screws on both sides of the panel with a Phillips screwdriver. Look for the black protective box marked ABS. Remove this protective box by unbolting the four bolts using a 6mm hex socket.
