How do you increase virtual memory?

goto start > control panel >performance and maintance > system > advance ,under performance > settings and on the advance tab under virtual memory click settings under drive {volume label} click the drive under pagning file size for selected drive click custom size click set and virtual memory will increse

Increasing virtual memory is an extremely simple process. Firstly,delete unwanted data or files on your computer. Look out especially for picture or videos they take up lots of space on your hard drive. You can also buy an external hard drive that can be connect to your computer to increase your virtual memory.

In Windows XP,click Start, and then click Control Panel.Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System.On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.On the Advanced tab, under Virtual memory, click Change.Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change. After that, click Set and then click Yes to restart computer.

By opening up your computer properties, and adjusting the size of the "pagefile". Also, please do this at your own risk....

Increasing virtual memory means run less running programs . You can select less programs on your startup of windows. You can use software like Advanced System Care , tune up utilities to increase your virtual memory.
