Add sugar to boiling water until you cannot dissolve more; place in a glass container with weighted piece of cotton kite string. Crystals will grow on it over several days.

To grow sugar crystals, as in rock candy, you need a super saturated sugar solution. This means that you have water with more dissolved sugar in it than it can normally handle. Boil water and mix in sugar till it stop dissolving. Then hang a string it it and let the water cool. The sugar will crystallize on the string.

To grow sugar crrystals, you need water, a string and a container. First, bring the water to a boil, then begin dissolving the sugar into the hot water until the liquid is rather syrupy. you will then need to pour this mixture into a heat safe container and let it sit until the crystals grow.

Take about three cups table sugar and dissolve in one cup of water. Heat the water first and gradually add the sugar, stirring to dissolve. Pour the solution in a glass jar and wait for crystals to form. You can use a seed crystal to start growth.
