"Brackish" water a greater salinity than fresh water but less than seawater. This is NOT a measure of pH, which is a measure of acidity/alkalinity. Nonetheless, brackish water is generally in the pH range of 7.5-8.5, which means it is slightly alkaline. If you want to raise this pH level further, add a base such as sodium hydroxide.

You can add additional pph to the water in order to build the levels into the brackish water and maintain by adding additional pph as needed.

Adding backing soda will raise the ph of water.A good way to raise the ph is to add sme sea shell, limestone rocks, chunks of marbles. This raise the hardness of the water too, which can help with ph stability.

Add acid to the water to raise the PH. The acid increases the PH and the base such as alkaline substances decrease the PH.
