The best way to go about that is to do a Google search for any hair donation sites. Also, there are plenty of hair stylists who know about hair drives that usually offer discounted or even free hair cuts for charity.

Most salons will donate hair. Just make sure to call the salon ahead of time and make sure that they do donate and notify them that, that is what you want to do.

The most popular resource for hair donation is Locks of Love. Any type of hair can be donated, except bleached hair. It's ok if it's just dyed, they just can't take bleached hair. To donate, you need to have at least 10 inches of hair to donate and you just fill out a form on their website.

You have to make sure you have at least 10 inches to cut off, go to a hair dresser and with your hair in a ponytail have them cut above the hair tye so the tye will hold all the hair together. Take your hair with you look up the adress for locks of love and send it to them.

You need to go to a cancer unit and ask, if donating for cancer patients who are loosing their hair.
