First, you will go through a screening process. The place you are donating to will have criteria for you to follow. You cannot have had sex before donation, you cannot have any diseases, etc. Your health will be monitored before your eggs are harvested for use.

Donating your eggs to science doesn't make you any money. Hence the donating part. Selling your eggs to a needy couple makes you money, but it's illegal in most states.

You would go to a fertility clinic and undergo a series of background and health checks. Once you are accepted into the program you will be matched with someone who wants donor eggs (usually anonymously), and then undergo the beginning part of IVF. This involves injections and ultrasound monitoring, then egg retrieval using a long needle just prior to ovulation.

You will need to sign up with an agency in your area and fill out some extensive surveys; then you'll talk with a representative from the company. Next, you go on file to see if a mother will select you; then there are doctors visits, injections, and lots of travel.
