Yellow highlighter may be successfully removed from clothing by using one of the laundry pre treament products on the market. Spray N Wash is sometimes successful, or maybe a Tide or Clorox pen.
If it is a pure white shirt then the best option is to use a quality bleach to remove the stain. If you are afraid or unable to bleach it tr a commercial stain remover like Shout.
