How do you get rusted brake drums off a car?

Start by loosening the brake adjuster if accessible. The apply some penetrating oil around the stud holes. Then try taping around the back edge of the drum. Hopefully this will start to loosen the rust and allow the drum to slide off.

Cars are like a human body if you don't check it once in a while it will break apart. The water and humidity will cause this type of damage.

Try spraying some penetrating oil on the rusted parts and let it soak in. Then start trying to knock it loose from the back out with a fair sized hammer.
