Consider purchasing a dehumidifier to reduce the amount of moisture in the air. Then clean the area with soap and apply a disinfectant to make sure the mold is gone.

1) Dampen the area so spores won't spread easily. 2) Scrub with hot water and soap (use a mask and wear clothes you can throw away). 3) Clean surface with water and bleach. 4) Let it dry (15 min) then dry rapidly. 5) Fix the cause of the mold.

At first you want to dry your home by decreasing humidity and moisture. Apply bleach-water solution and wait for 15 minutes and scrub the mold and clear it off.
