How do you get a reporter to interview you?

I would love to be interviewed but can not seem to get the attention of the reporters.

Make sure you always look well-put together, and you are on-site at newsworthy events. Stand near the television reporter and try to make your presence known, and you will be interviewed.

You need to contact local tv and radio reporters by email or letter including a selection of materials on why you are of interest to them.
