Those artists are no more talented then any other experienced professional tattoo artist. There are a lot of talented artists out there. Go online or pick up a few tattoo magazine to see what shops and artist do quality work in you area. A good artist will have a portfolio of their work available for you to see.

Television tattoo artist are not the best artist out there. I'm sure if you do some research and look through portfolios you can find a skilled artist for much less.
