How do you fix a blower fan that only works on high?

It sounds like you would either need to replace the blower fan switch. This is not hard to do and you will need basic tools. The blower fan might also have a dragging bearing. In that case you will have to lubricate the bearing. Again simple to do and you will need basic tools.

what i would recomend do is to go ahead and replace the blower. cause it the heater is working to do everything els but not getting the heat out on any setting other than high then it is definitly in need of being replaced. depending on the location of the blower will tell you if you can do it yourself.

The speed of a blower fan is controlled by a resistor. In order to fix your problem, you would need to replace them.

By adding a voltage controller switch the speed of the blower can be controlled. The other way to control the high speed of the blower is adding a variable resistor at the input voltage of the fan.

If your blower fan only works only on high then your switch is probably broken and it might be easier and cheaper to just purchase a new one.
