How do you find someone to drive your car across country?

When I moved across country and flew to my destination, I had movers pack my belongings to ship out to my new home. I had to find a driver to bring my car out so I asked the moving company if they new of anyone who would drive for me and they gave me some names of people.

You could always post an ad online, but it is much safer to use word of mouth and get someone who you know is trustworthy. Students are usually willing to do this.

The best thing to do is put out an ad. One way would to be to go the Craigslist route. A lot of people do. You can also put an ad in the local paper.

You run an ad in either the newspaper or even post an ad online at craigslist. com. You need to do a background check to make sure that they have a license and insurance. Or at least make sure your insurance covers other drivers. Make sure you know the person.
