The angle between any two sides of a hexagon is 120 degrees. So to draw a regular hexagon with 5cm sides, you'd draw a 5cm line, then use a protractor to draw another 5cm line at 120 degrees, and keep repeating around until you get a hexagon.

Hexagons are polygons that have 6 sides. You you need to do is draw a shape with 6 straight line segments and you are good to go! Make sure the figure has 6 angles too.
