How do you disassemble a Guitar Hero SG controller?

You will need to get the proper screw driver to take the face plate off first. You will now need to carefully take out the internal components making sure to keep the buttons from falling off of the springs they are attached to. You can now take the rear off and it is disassembled.

Unscrew all screws at the back and neck of the guitar and remove the back. Remove the five color keys and then remove all of the electronics. Unscrew the screws that hold the faceplate. Now you can paint! Please make sure that you organize all screws as you take it out as the reassembly can be quite confusing!

Well your going to have to open it from the back and then take out all the parts. First you have to unscrew it open. But honestly I don't recommend this. Any type of liquid substance is just going to make it very hard to use later. It will damage it.

You have a screw that you can unscrew behind the guitar. Careful not to lose anything inside the guitar. Plenty of little stuff in there.

you have to unscrew the screws that are located on the side. then you have to remove the panel then do what you wanted then put back on.
