How do you develop leadership skills?

There are many different ways you can develop leadership skills. You can volunteer to be a Boy Scout or Girl Scout Troop leader or co-leader. Planning and executing the meetings and being a role model to younger kids is a great way to learn leadership skills. You will also learn skills of time management.

Go to your library. There's books on developing your skills. Also, read some biographies of great leaders in politics and business. Do some volunteering, which will help you learn how to think on your feet which is an important trait all leaders need. Watch the history channel so you can see people like Churchill and Roosevelt.
