How do you determine the size of a computer's primary storage?

It's a new PC.

What you will be looking for is the compacity of the HDD or SSD, that stands for Hard Disk Drive or Solid State Disk. Usually on a Windows system if you right click on Computer, from the start menu and look for your HDD size.

This thing is really simple on Windows SO(i haven't worked with anything else). You go to Start, then go to Control Panel, then "System". Open it and find Device Manager. Click Disk Drives then Volumes tab, and populate. Finally read the number in the Capacity row.
