How do you define a composite USB device?

I do not understand what the instructions mean by a composite USB device.

A USB Composite Device is a device that has multiple interfaces controlled independently of each other. Basically, it's a device which does more than one job. Some examples would be; a wireless keyboard and mouse or a keyboard, mouse, gamepad combination. Even A gamers steering wheel and foot pedals is an USB Composite Device.

A composite USB device is, simply put, a device plugged in through the USB slot that can do more than one thing. One example of this is a receiver for a wireless keyboard and mouse. Because they are two separate entities, windows just specifies it as a composite USB device.
