Fill it with things you love! Get decorating magazines and rip out pages with things you like. Eventually, you will discover your themes. Also, take into consideration the room you are decorating. Ex. Bedrooms are for sleeping, so use soothing, gentler colors. However, you want inspiration in the kitchen, thus brighter colors are acceptable. Remember, there is no rush!

Browse through some decorating magazines, or catalogs from places like Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn; these should give you some inspiration. I like to use bright, bold colors on my walls (no wallpaper!), keep hardwood floors, and use lots of interesting lighting throughout the house. I also love decorative pillows and lots of mirrors.
