The thicker the neoprene of a wetsuit, the warmer it is. But, it is also more constrictive. If you swim in water that is consistently 65 degrees or cooler, go with a heavier/warmer suit. Personal body temp also factors in. Remember that wetsuits should be snug but not too tight and any wetsuit will give a teensy bit whern wet.
