How do you deal with teenage anger?

It seems like she's angry all the time.

Quite simply, you need to talk to her and figure out what she's angry about. Take her seriously and treat her like an equal. She might be angry with you, her parents, her school, bullies she's dealing with, etc. It's important to figure out why she's upset.

A child therapist that works with anger issues is the best way to help a young person learn to control and harness their anger. If they are violent, be sure to keep yourself safe. If they are more moody than violent, steer clear and do what you can not to aggravate them further. Sometimes emotional distance is necessary for peace.
