I would completely sand down the current paint job. Then, prime it and paint it the desired color. Put a couple layers of paint on for good quality. Then you should place whatever graphics you may want. After placing all desired graphics, you should paint clear coat over everything.

If you want to start customizing then I would recommend looking online. There is tons of information about pin-striping and custom painting. There are also plenty of books out there.

The easiest way to do it is by getting a kit at your local auto store and it will help you with detailed instructions.

Well if you want to learn to do paint work I would recommend buying either some instructional books or dvd's. Then do some research online to see what tools you will need to get started. I know Eastwood Company should have a lot of the tools you will need to get start but they can also be found elsewhere.

I would like some fancy wheels, a very powerfull sound system, a DVD player with screens on the back-seats and, of course, a really neat bump sticker.

Take it to a licensed body-shop specialist. Stripes, if applied incorrectly, leave a streak if it should fall off. Worse yet, it may begin to curl around the edges if not applied properly. Paint jobs are similar and may change from wet to dry painting look, which may give the car a matted, dull look.

Check around your area for shops that do that type of work, reputable body shops with references is your best bet.
