You have to be careful; Spanish cursing is not universal. Different words have different implications/meanings in various Spanish-speaking countries. For the most part, if you want to spend time learning Spanish, it's better to learn the necessary vocabulary to speak properly, which won't get you into trouble.

Cursing in Spanish translates to other languages; if the words didn't translate, they would be nonsense words. They must have specific meaning to qualify as curse words just as insults do. Some of the cursing is idiomatic, but much of it is specific. There is a book called "Mierda," which covers a lot of Spanish street language and cursing.
