If you are good with make up you can always use concealer, it will take quite a lot, but you can get great results.

To cover up a tattoo you can use Kat Von D's tattoo concealer which is sold at Sephora. You can also use Dermablend, they sell concealer and also a body tattoo primer to make sure the concealer stays on.

There is certain make up that can cover up a tattoo very well. Even regular cover up does a decent job covering a tattoo up. That is the only way i know without hurting the tattoo
